"Barre is the first work out that I have found that is FUN! The instructors, friendly fellow-barre-goers, and the music help keep me energized during the class. Best of all, since I began working out at Pensacola Barre I have lost SIXTEEN (nonfluctuating) POUNDS! The first time I signed up for a class at Pensacola Barre I was excited to try something new, but I was more nervous than anything. I wasn't in shape, I didn't have expensive work-out clothes (still don't..#TeacherProblems), and I thought people who went to these "fancy" classes would be less than friendly so I had my friend go with me; safety in numbers. To our surprise the class was comprised of all types of people at varying fitness levels and ages. Trish slowly walked us through the movements because they felt SO WEIRD and unnatural for the first few weeks, but now I catch myself "tucking" while I drive!"

"During my first class I remember thinking are these one inch movements really going to change my body. Since having my three children I have struggled with my weight. I have done Insanity, P90X, and Jillian Michael's. In two short months I have went from a size 8 to a size 4. All from Barre class. It's addictive, and I feel incredible."

"I went in search of a local Barre class after hearing my best friend in Seattle swearing by Barre and seeing pictures of her body transformation. My preferred method of working out is running, but after having three children, I just wasn’t getting the results I wanted anymore from running only. After only two months of doing Barre two times per week, I’ve noticed a total body change. My arms, chest and back are more defined then they’ve been since before kids. Plus my tush and thighs are firmer and tighter than they’ve been in awhile! I’m still not where I want to be, but Barre is definitely helping me get there! Barre has also been an awesome compliment to my running, and it has even helped improve my running form. I’m definitely hooked!"

"Over the years, I’ve sustained a few little injuries, causing me to gradually work myself into a terrible exercise funk; doing the same old cardio routines, with little to no stretching or strength training. Though I tried all types of classes: Pilates, yoga, kickboxing, etc., some were too rough on my damaged parts, others were not what I enjoyed in a workout. Just when I was feeling a little depressed about the whole situation, I tried my first Barre class, and voila!!! It was absolutely everything I had been looking for and more. I love the cycle of working a muscle group to exhaustion, and then stretching. The movements are very physically challenging, yet it’s virtually impossible to really hurt yourself, and the group setting motivates me to do exercises I would NEVER do on my own. The "all over" conditioning has left me in better physical shape, as well as improved my flexibility dramatically. PLUS, I can honestly say that Barre has lifted me out of a boring exercise rut - it's great fun!"

"I love Barre because it is the best workout I have ever done. The music and moves are never the same, which is great. I am challenged every class to improve on my form. There is always room for improvement to my form so I never get bored. My favorite part of Barre is as my form improves, my workouts get better and tougher. That is a great incentive to continue Barre. This is the first workout that I have actually stuck with and I look way better in my swimsuit. Pensacola Barre is great! Love my instructors!"

"I like that barre is a total body anaerobic workout in one hour. When I go to the gym, I always find reasons to quit working out after 20 minutes. At barre the time flies and I know I'm working every part of my body and that I'm not only burning calories during class, but will continue to when class is over. I'm not skimping or cheating any one part of my body because I got bored. Anyone can lift a weight on her own, but having someone to help me maintain the right form and focus on the muscles I’m trying to work is always a bonus in a workout. Stretching in between sets has also helped my flexibility. Barre is a way for me to tone and shape in a way that's challenging and always refreshing."

"Barre is the first workout that I've really found myself enjoying and keeping up with! I try my hardest to make it to as many classes a week as I can, and am always glad that I did. I like how barre is a complete full-body workout in one hour. I also really appreciate how even though I started going to barre in September I've never done the exact same workout twice. New moves are introduced often and I never know exactly what to expect. (p.s. the music is great!)"
